The external speakers are usually activated through the menu system of your radio/cd player.
On mine, a Windsor, it is done as a "fade" left or right. Balance gives front or back speakers and fade gives inside or outside

I drive a Prado 120 2006, I am thinking about fitting a diff locker, just after any feedback from owners with a Prado as to which brand of locker they run with and performance or if its even worth fitting a locker? Cheers

Just where do we start?...
Our caravan is a 2003 Jayco Heritage; Basically, as it came out of the factory, BUT, we have lifted it approx 5" by undersliging the axles. (This allows us to get off the road without too many hassles!)
Having a liking for "camping out" we have added an extra deep cycle battery (120ah), which when our 120watt solar system (purchased from Kulkyne Campers of course!) is put into action keeps all the 12 volt sytem opertional!
I have modified a couple of Anderson plugs by "piggy backing" 2 together ! This allows me to hook our vehicle up to the caravan, together with the Solar system, so that we can keep the vehicle batteries fully charged as well as the van batts and also have the use of ALL batteries.
The 52 Litre Bushman freezer is usually kept in the rear of the vehicle and runs from one of the vehicle batteries
We have found that (providing we are blessed with a bit of sunlight) the solar panel is more than enough to keep everything operational.
We have also added a 12volt, 12" dia fan to the vans accessories which gives a nice breeze thru the van. (Without having a Generator we are unable to use the air-conditioner of course.)
We will have been continuously travelling since selling our home in April 2002!
We have met many lovely people around Australia, who have also adopted this type of livestyle in preference to being tied down to a property with ongoing maintenance and expense etc etc.
The added benefit for us is that we get to see more of our children & grandchildren than would otherwise be the case as they live interstate & overseas.
Enjoy your Camping Freedom with a lot of help from Brett & his merry crew!

I have a Cub Space Van hard floor camper . It is probably the biggest hard floor camper on the road and is great for what we do. It is off road and I have added mains pressure hot water and shower to the van since getting it two yars ago. We have been around Aus with it and travelled from Lawn Hill to Borrolloola NT across country. A picture of it is in the Cub brochure as we arrived at the Principality of Hutt River.
Recently I broke the porch light and Cub want $220.00 to replace it. I would like to keep the Annerversary version of the Cub in original condition to some extent but the price for a outside light with a switch seems excessive. Can anyone help with some ideas or a better price. Thanks
